As all of you know Patsy and how much we love her. She has been at Summit in ICU all week. Today at 12:30 she will be having a shut put in her liver. It will be a long day for us. This is our only hope for her. John was able to talk to her on the phone yesterday and that really made her smile. Today she asked about him. Jerry told her his car broke down and he was having to walk here. They have become like family to us being that both sets of parents and grandparents live in different states. She told us yesterday about the love the Lord has for her. And that she loved being with us but, she knew his love was better. She is at such peace. Liz and Josh will come up later today. Patsy and Jerry love them both so much. So I will let you know what is going on here. Love you all!

This entry makes me think of so many past times that we have shared with Mrs. Patsy and Mr. Jerry. They have always been such a huge inspiration on our family. From sharing holidays with one another, special occasions, times of need, rough times...they have always been there. Exactly what mom said in the entry, Grandparents in Tennessee. I was so nervous yesterday heading up to the hospital (just for the simple fact, that I hate hospitals..not that anyone enjoys them, but you know!), but once I entered the waiting room, there was a peace on everyone's hearts. Mr. Jerry knew that whatever happened, that it was in God's plan. After she came out of surgery, everyone was able to go back and see her. Of course she was asleep, but I was able to atleast hold her hand. I'm glad I went down there lastnight. It was crazy how everyone seemed to know each other in the waiting room. I think that that was a God thing!!! :) I thank God for putting these two precious people in my life. I know I don't see them hardly enough, but when I do, they always seem to somehow leave a smile on my face. They not only show what it means to be on fire for God, but what it means to not only love one another as husband and wife, but as bestfriends. Love you Mrs. Patsy and Mr. Jerry!
I am so glad that you posted a picture of Patsy and Jerry. I know that when ohn wakes up, he will recognize them right away. We too, with all the family feel that they are a very special couple. We have been blessed to get to know them. It is wonderful when you know the Lord and have his peace in your heart. I am thinking and praying for all in TN. God's love, MOM
Thank you all for your love and support, it means a lot to all of us.
Please keep dad in your prayers this Wednesday as he visits the cardiac doctor, please pray for a good visit, he has enough on him right now without having to worry about that.
